Below are downloadable files of the Amtrak Hot Spot Books.
It has been brought to our attention that the books have not
been given to recent new hires because some of the Amtrak
management felt they had no value. Well, we feel the books
are very valuable to all roadway workers and provide some
insight into the minimum amount of watchmen needed in the
Hot Spot areas. To assure you have this important tool we
have made them available to you here.
The book was
put together in 2009 and a few modifications were made in
2018. The
valuable information in the book still stands today.
